Optimise your health during perimenopause and beyond.

I learnt a huge amount about this tricky “time of life” - Marion has presented a great deal of useful informative information on all aspects of menopause, a great mixture of practical sessions and information to take away - a GREAT value course with a supportive and friendly atmosphere! Thank you.

A six-week program for women who want to improve their wellbeing before, during and after menopause. This program offers you the knowledge to be able to make positive lifestyle changes, feel informed, understood, and confident in making the right choices for you.

Are you starting to notice the beginnings of perimenopausal changes, right in the middle of it, or are you postmenopausal with your last period some months or even years ago? Perimenopause can begin as early as age 35, but for most women, it starts between 40 and 44.

This is for you if you want to:

  • Have a better understanding of what is happening in your body during perimenopause and postmenopause.

  • Be part of a community of women experiencing similar things

  • Find consistent support and peer accountability as you implement simple, evidence-based strategies to help you feel better.

  • Explore various options of support and build your own individual “menopause toolkit.”

This unique program is created and led by Marion Colledge (our Nutritional Therapist and Medical Herbalist) and aims to give you a better understanding of which foods, herbs and nutrients can benefit you and your health most during this time.

Marion will explain and contextualise the changes you are experiencing, as well as offering you strategies to help:

  • Increase and stabilise your energy levels

  • Create a more consistent and stable mood

  • Improve your sleep

  • Improve your overall sense of wellbeing

  • Reduce feeling bloated and uncomfortable

  • Gain control over your weight (if this is an issue for you)

  • Boost confidence in your body (knowledge is power!)

This course also invites you to learn about the benefits of exercise and strength building, while also exploring the profound importance of rest for your physical and mental wellbeing. Two of the six sessions are co-led by guest facilitators who are highly experienced specialists in their respective subjects; one on the subject of rest (utilising yoga and meditation practices) and another on building strength (through the lens of mat Pilates).

It was a great holistic course, that touched on such a great range of tools which you can use to help you through this stage of your life. It was a supportive and friendly environment that I enjoyed. I shared what I learned with other women at work and friends outside of work; they waited each week to get updates!

As well as the in-person meetings, this program also includes:

  • Weekly follow up emails summarising that week’s learning, including recipe ideas for balanced meals

  • A weekly invitation to set yourself a small goal for that week.

  • Access to a Whatsapp Group for the duration of the program for questions, inspiration, and mutual support

By the end of the six weeks, you will have a better understanding of what is happening in your body during perimenopause and menopause, how to manage these changes by choosing the right foods and making positive lifestyle choices, and most importantly you will have your own individual “toolkit” to help you thrive and feel great through your midlife and beyond - whether you take HRT or not. We have a blog that explores the topic of HRT further, you can find that here.
