Learn how food, nutrients and herbs can help to boost your immune system and improve your energy levels and overall wellbeing especially during the cold season.

 

Do you feel a bit more tired than usual? Would like to eat more healthily but not sure where to start? Do you feel a bit run down a lot of the time? Then this workshop is for you.

 

Marion, our Nutritional Therapist and Medical Herbalist, will help you understand the basic principles of how our immune system works and the crucial role which our diet plays in supporting our immune system. Gut health is essential for a well functioning immune response and overall health and we will explore some specific nutrients and medicinal herbs which can be useful to support this. We will also look at how to sustain good energy levels throughout the day and how blood sugar balance can be a helpful strategy for this.

 

Healthy eating doesn’t have to be complicated. Marion will provide you with simple, easy to follow, evidence-based advice which will help you to make some long-term changes to your diet. A nutritious and varied diet which is beneficial for your overall health and wellbeing and can be incorporated into every day life.

 

There will be time for questions at the end.

 

The workshop will include a nutritious snack and herbal teas and participants will receive a recipe booklet by email afterwards.
